III International Harp Festival of Sentmenat

The International Harp Festival of Sentmenat is coming back on June the 18th, 19th and 20th. The desire to please will be exposed in three days of concerts, harp exhibition and other activities, in a social chapter where it is more common to close doors than open them. So our responsibility is double and tempting at the same time, because in our hands it is to demonstrate that the success exists beyond the money and the television. We will invest again in affectivity; we will excise the right of feeling and being different, without believing ourselves better. It returns the miracle to travel without leaving home and, this time, exposed to the attentive look of many neighboring eyes that admire the tenacity with which we take our steps. There is not only the festival, because the city council and the collaborators do not leave. And, in addition, just like an air support, is has been born l´Associació D´Amics de L´Arpa de Sentmenat.

Marta C., Marta G., Francisco Javier, Jose Luis, Alex G., Alex F.,Tino, are my repairing septet, are my three hundred Spartans. Volunteers with no more remunerative honger of the glory, conscious that they do history supporting this cause, they have erased, like I, the expression “not can” of our language. I am not more Leónidas than the one that they make me feel when they support my criteria and when they cling on realizing it. I have grown with their confidence. Doubtless, this coming edition promises, very much.

International Harp Festival of Sentmenat knows that the way towards the great wins begins with the union of the small good intentions. If the planet threats to dry up, maybe now is the time for healing the roots of a consumer society that saddens when it does not sail in opulence. There are a thousand and one causes that justify the speculation, like the reason and the moment when culture stopped being a right to be a product that sometimes, and for many people, is unattainable. We have not spoken about the copyright, neither we have spoken about Internet download, we are talking about not to put numbers in what it joins the people, it relates them and it frees them from the crossings of an insensible society. In order that everyone who makes things for love returns to be treated like a good person and not like a fool, our festival is opened to the public without ticket office. That is just a small but good intention supported by the disinterested help of those who cooperate in doing that our festival is FREE.
